SOOO... I got these two little Diamond Doves back in either late October or early November. I can't remember if I mentioned them before. But yeah. Oh, and yes, "Diamond Dove" is indeed the common name of the species. They have a pattern on their wings that resembles diamond-studding. Very pretty little guys.

Anyway, they've started this thing of cooing in near-unison... It's one of the creepiest/eeriest things I think I've ever heard. I really need to go unearth my little microphone and record this shit. Seriously, you have NO idea. Lol. Their little voices sound a lot like some ancient wooden flute or something. They make this weird little two-part coo... The second part sounds like they're actually trying to make a little tune. Doot-doot-doot, doo-oot-doo-doot. XD

So yeah. Extra weird. But then, their species hails from Australia, so I guess that's to be expected. They are also teeny tiny... They're almost the exact same size as my budgies, long-ish tail and all.

I'll try to get some pictures and maybe video soon... And no, I haven't forgotten to post pictures of my new "monitor", if you can call a 42" LED TV that. o_O Things have just been kinda crazy, unfortunately. -___- I've been either too sick or too busy to do much these days, blah. I'll be getting a CT scan of my sinuses here in the next week or two. FUN! But the sheer amount of pain I've been in and the fact that I've had a sinus infection pretty much non-stop since at least August... Yeeeah. It needs to be done.

I'll be taking down the ones I put into my sta.sh storage soon since they aren't actually mine. I just wanted you guys to get a good idea of what they look like. My mother's camera sucks ass, and I still need to get a cord for my phone so I can download the photos and video onto my computer. Blah.
